Copiers
Remember back in the day when the copiers used to be big huge machines today technology has found a way to make them more compact. The first Xerographic office copier was a Xerox copier in the 1949. Xerox was so popular that it replaced other copies by Verifax, Photostat, Carbon paper, Mimeograph machines and other copy type machines. Most businesses today cannot run without a copy machine. There are 5 steps to copying, charging, exposure, developing, transfer and fusing. These things put together will give you a crisp clear copy.
There used to be simple black and white copies until color copiers come in the 1950's. It sounds strange that they were color copiers in 1950 but they were. They were not available until 1968. The very first color copier was made by Canon in 1973. Today, all copiers are made with color, the color toner costs more but in the world of technology and businesses using color graphs and charts, it was hard to believe that the world ever did without color copiers.
Some of the most popular brands of copiers are Xerox, Sharp, Ricoh, Panasonic, Toshiba, Konica Minolta, Fuji and Canon. Not only has the color of the toner evolved but the style of the copier itself had changed. When they first came out the copiers were big and heavy, they still make those today but they have more technology then they did 30 years ago. But today there are desk top copiers as well, for home offices or small business offices who are trying to save space.
If you are in the market for a copier and you want to save money try looking into a desk top copier , you can get a better deal on those than you would on a full size copier. There are many different brands and styles or chose from. You can check out your favorite office supply store or you can check online , they may have a style that you like more than what you have seen in your local store. For a better deal try buying a reconditioned copier. They are just rebuilt and work just as good.
